There are many ways to worship the LORD and one of my absolute favorite ways to worship is through art journaling. I’m not alone in this…there’s a whole community of us and thankfully, we’ve come together to share how we do it through FAITH FEST!

Today is the day! I’m excited to share that Faith Fest 2025 is LIVE and MY VIDEO plays today!! Woohoo!!!

In case you missed it, Faith Fest is a fresh, new offering for the creative Christian community. 12 Christian artists from all over came together for three days to share our hearts and art around the same scripture: Matthew 5:14-16. When you sign up, you’ll get to see 12 different art journaling interpretations of how we can let our lights shine in the world!! Each day, four different artist’s videos are released and today, mine is released into the world!

I was so humbled and blessed to be asked to be a part of this experience and so excited to learn from these women. It amazes me how one scripture can be interpreted in so many different ways through art.

For the art journal page that I shared, I chose to create a bold, bright, and beautiful mixed media self-portrait collage as a representation of how FEARFULLY and WONDERFULLY our Creator made us, with each colorful and bold piece of paper representing some bold and beautiful part of us that was created ON PURPOSE to SHINE before others and glorify our Father in Heaven!!

Friends, it can be so dark out there. Your light may be the only light someone else sees, the only light to bring hope and good news. Don’t hide these parts and pieces of yourself - LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE!!

The art journal page I share in my video begins as most of my sacred art journaling pages begin, as a prayer written out, or a journaling session.
