Oh Kelly this is absolutely lovely. I relate to this so much. When I was in my darkness too, I called them God droppings ✨ The random person texting me me to write on an extremely hard day, the hummers stopping in my face, the random child who turned around, and said "you are so loved." Crazy stuff. I had stopped seeing for a while too, but He is so good to remind us of His Sovereignty and love. I now feel like my seeing and hearing is even more amplified. Yesss ✨🙌🏻 share with anyone who is near!

❤️ God droppings 🙏🏻 I love that, and those totally personal examples are the best.

We just had one of the worst nights in a long long time with our daughter requiring a major emergency on Monday (hence my lack of responsiveness here) and today as we were recounting some of the details to our therapist, she was calling out “totally God” (but God) things that we completely missed right smack dab in the middle of our trauma. Even in the direct middle of the heartache, he “drops” them and winks! ❤️🙏🏻

Oh dear friend 😔 God does sit with us in the hardest, most shut-down times. It's so difficult to recognize that He is actually there in the midst -- and you have an amazing therapist to point it out. I pray Naomi is better and peace is flowing through her mind. I pray she is feeling stronger. And for you and your sweet husband and boys. Never apologize for communication in these areas - these places are our God winks and droppings of expression and God works with us there in His time. Keep listening, noticing and creating. He is with you. And Naomi. oxox

Joan, Kelly is an amazingly felt artist. I’m so glad you read this! Her story, what her family has gone through, which is somewhere on her Substack, is truly painful and unreal. I love how creativity is saving the souls of so many of us. ox

Thank you, friend. I sincerely appreciate you sharing also. I have no idea how to use Substack other than what I’m doing. I need to take a class from you! ❤️🙏🏻

No! I need to take a class from you!!!.. but I'm gonna say that what we do comes directly from the Holy Spirit and you can't teach that. Other than that, regarding Substack - it's very intuitive, however it's a typical platform/app that keeps evolving! I have learned survival basics 😂😂 oxox

Kelly, I love this! This is exactly what I'm aiming for in my photography and my writing! To point out the beauty all around that God gives! But also, such a good reminder to credit the Creator!

I love that, Kym. It is a personal ministry, isn’t it?! We, the artists, see the unseen and share it so others can, too. Keep doing it! It’s an important, good work!! ❤️❤️❤️

I agree with you. The signs of beauty (and other more personal signs) are everywhere, just for us. I sometimes think it must be the more we allow the Holy Spirit in our bodies, the more we can see clearly what's around us. It is about priorities. Exactly as you said, the Bible says, "Seek and you will find".

If I were a little girl or teen, I would love getting a letter from a grownup saying “I was so interested in what you were telling me that I didn’t tell you about something really beautiful and special that I saw while we were driving to school……etc”

Thank you for this thought and idea, Nanette. I will see her again. And I have learned more about her and her family’s situation and know that a little infusing of beauty might be just the thing she didn’t know she needed. ❤️🙏🏻

Beautiful, Kelly – I love that you turned that conviction and nudge into such a beautiful intention. And as I leave this message for you right now, my eye is drawn into our little garden where I am watching two sparrows peck away at some seed in a humble feeder hanging from the Acer tree. At the same time, four little friends or siblings are waiting their turn on the garden trellis. Not a coincidence I feel sure. Thank you so much for this.

Such a useful reminder! We have so much beauty around us that God created for us to enjoy and give thanks to Him-we just need to Notice! Reminding our brothers and sisters of this beauty and who we have to thank for it…so GOOD!
